Main reason for giving this vipassana center 5 star are:
(1)Just like every other vipassana center in the world, Lucknow center trustees too are tying to help people to come out of their miseries with the best of their abilities, intentions without expecting anything in return. So with this intention one can't have anything less than full marks.
(2)Unlike many centers in Europe, Lucknow centre Trustees Mr Pankaj Jain is very quick in responding and confirming seats at Vipassana center, often on the same day.
What they can improve is cleanliness in general and especially at the male common toliet areas which were quite dirty during my visit.
Lucknow Vipassana meditation center is located around 20 kilometers from the Lucknow main train station & it cost around Rs 500 via auto.
Lucknow center has also build pagodas where one can meditate in seclusion. Centre has mostly double occupancy rooms on the male side.
The only downside which I can see in the Lucknow Vipassana meditation center was on the parameters of cleanliness.
The same rules and regulations which are followed across the world in all vipassana centers are followed in Lucknow.
I have also noticed that trustees also visit the center on the last days and do listen to the concerns of students as how they can improve for the future students courses.
Center has so much peaceful environment that even small python in the bushes near the center outer boundaries don’t want to leave the premises & just sleep their peacefully without any movement.
Lucknow Vipassana Center also seem to grow vegetables in the garden. Healthy breakfast at 7am, Nutritious lunch at afternoon 11am & snacks at 4pm are provided by the center. Water filter is also there.
Center management is very kind to accommodate people, some even with limited mobility.
