Industry Context & Support

Delivering the keynote address, Donna Morley, Field Operations Director at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the essential role street works play in enabling the UK’s economic growth, digital transition, net-zero ambitions, and electric vehicle adoption.

Morley highlighted Virgin Media O2’s continued investments in next-generation connectivity- including upgrading its fixed network to XDS Pond and expanding NextFibre to 18 million premises- while praising Street Works UK for fostering vital collaboration between government, local authorities, and industry partners.
