At India’s most prestigious medical center (AIIMS) All India Institute Of Medical Sciences a girl’s kidneys is missing after operation and authorities constituted a high-powered committee of senior professors to probe into the allegations.

Pawan Kumar a native of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh had come to AIIMS last year for the treatment of his daughter as she had developed some complications in her left kidney. Deepika, a resident of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, had clear reports from AIIMS dated December 8 2014, the right kidney was in good condition.

A senior surgeon of the paediatrics department handling the case informed the family that the kidney has to be removed. On March 14, the doctor performed the surgery during which one of the patient’s kidney’s was removed, alleged Kumar.

However, after a couple of days, the patient complained of severe pain and a CT scan was done and in the test report no kidney was visible.

According to the father Pawan kumar the doctor did not answer his queries properly and than he tried speaking to the AIIMS administration failing which he approached the Hauz Khas police in Delhi.

AIIMS, however, denied having knowledge of the incident. According to the father, his daughter is on dialysis since March 14 last year and admitted to AIIMS.
