Summary: If you ever buy your air tickets from travel agent TicketstoIndia, Tickets to India website or you need to be aware that they may not explain clearly the most important information at the point of selling in FARE RULES.

Following case explain how the travel agent ticketstoindia has acted unethically and unprofessionally and in a non transparent way and even threaten the ticket holder with legal aspect. fails to mention both in FARE RULES and IMPORTANT NOTES section,

(1) If you miss your departure flight for any reason, you would not be allowed to board the Return flight with Air India even though you have paid for both journey in advance??? which means you would lose your whole ticket money! Air India Reviews in details.

(2) If you need to change 1st departure journey, the change can cost almost the price of whole return ticket, say around $400???

Isn’t not explaining important terms clearly at the point of sales in the  E tickets FARE Rules and IMPORTANT NOTES section is a case of deception and unethical practice???

Ticket Holder No: 098 5117349963 – H8T2F booked his return ticket with on the 31st Dec 2017 from London to Delhi and needed to prepone his tickets because of sudden ill health of his mother.

Even though the passenger after reaching India informed and confirmed both on social media and also via email to Air India customer support well in advance that he can’t use his scheduled 7th Jan London to Delhi flight since he has already flown on the 3rd Jan and he will use his return ticket as scheduled, however, Air India still cancelled his return ticket stating out of sequence travel in not permitted as per their policy.

(3)Ticketstoindia acted unethically: When their discrepancies were highlighted to them they first went silent and later dishonestly changed the terms and stated that those terms were there at the point of selling and it was customer’s fault that they didn’t read it.

However ticketstoindia team didn’t realize that the ticket holder have confirmed proof/ evidence that ticketstoindia has changed the terms later and dishonestly claimed the terms were there before.

(4) again acted unprofessionally and in a non transparent was when they were asked via several emails what is the CLEAR break up of BASE FAIR and ALL the TAXES and how they calculate CHARGES around $400 related to simple change in departure journey? They went silent and have not replied till the point of writing this report as of 24th Jan 2018 IST.

(5) Emails were also sent to senior management of Ticketstoindia parent company Acetrip ltd and were requested to resolve this issue via dialogue but they choose to stay silent.
