Kunal Kohli to attend Arts for India Charity event at BAFTA London

Bollywood well-known Filmmaker Kunal Kohli will be attending the Arts for India charity event for the welfare of underprivileged children at the iconic London Landmark BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on the Wednesday 31st of MAY 2017.

The star-studded evening, hosted by the International Bollywood Star, Amy Jackson will consist of a champagne reception, dinner, auction, and awards ceremony, with all proceeds going on to help young students get the education they deserve.

Kunal Kohli is a well known Indian film director, producer, and writer known for his remarkable work in Bollywood. He is best known as the director of Hum Tum (2004) and Fanaa (2006). He also owns the production house Kunal Kohli Productions.

Speaking on this occasion about the Arts for India charity, Kunal Kohli commented: “Arts for India is a wonderful initiative that must be supported by one and all.”

In addition to Kunal Kohli, other stars attending the Gala event will be Tamannaah Bhatia, Vanessa Redgrave CBE, Kunjue Li, Shekhar Kapoor.

Previous Arts for India awardees include Lord Richard Attenborough, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Goldie Hawn and Dame Joan Collins among others.

Arts for India (AFI) – a charity registered in U.K.- was established in 2010 to support IIFA in its endeavors. Arts for India holds fundraising events for IIFA and garners sponsorships for the underprivileged students at IIFA.

Arts For India provide further education for underprivileged students studying at the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA), Modinagar, National Capital Region Delhi, through sponsorships. Their mission is to lift disadvantaged young Indian teenagers out of poverty through the provision of education in Art and Creative design to a global standard.
