“Arts for India” to again host charity event at BAFTA in 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) 10th Dec 2016, London. Arts for India charity to again host a fundraising event at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly London on the 31st of MAY 2017 following the success of Oct 2016 event.

The spectacular evening on the 31st of May 2017 at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly will include an awards ceremony, fundraising dinner, followed by an Indian theme cultural dance program with the goal of helping underprivileged artists through Arts for India charity.

During the last event of Arts for India charity on the 19th Oct 2016, BFI showcased never before seen the archive of Indian cinema. The event also draws the multi-billionaires, Indian Cinema stars, Academy award-winning writers, world-class artists, IVY league professors and international celebrities for an evening of Charity.

Vanessa Redgrave CBE will be honored at the 2017 Arts for India charity event in London at BAFTA.

Arts for India (AFI) was launched in London, in 2010 by Shri Satish K Modi. More than 4000 children have been given free of charge education so far.
